✦Web Design
Every ad you run ends up here. Make it worth the trip.
Sites built to be fast, findable, and easy to buy from — by the same team spending the money that sends people to them.
A beautiful website that loads in six seconds is a beautiful nothing.
Most business sites were designed to be looked at rather than used. Meanwhile every dollar of media you spend is quietly funnelling people into them.
Page Speed

You’re paying for the click either way.
The cost of a slow, confusing site isn’t theoretical — it’s the exact price of every click that bounced off it. Most people never see the second page, and on a phone on a country road they never see the first one either, because it’s still loading. We build the boring things well: it opens fast, it says what you do, and the button to call you is where a thumb already is.

Phone First
Most of your traffic is a thumb on a small screen. That’s the version we design first.
Built to Convert
One obvious next step on every page. Forms that work, numbers that dial, no dead ends.
You Can Edit It
WordPress, set up so your team can change hours and prices without ringing us.
Three kinds of site, and we’ll tell you which you need.
Half the businesses that ask us for a rebuild need three fixes and a new phone number in the header. We’d rather say that than sell you a project.
The Full Site
Your whole business, rebuilt properly.
Structure, design, copy, and build — with the pages people actually look for: what you do, whether you serve their town, what it costs, and how to reach a human.
- Custom design, not a marketplace template with your logo on it
- Copy written here, from a conversation rather than a form
- Built on WordPress so any agency can maintain it, including not us

Landing Pages
One campaign, one page, one job.
The fastest money in advertising is usually a page that matches the ad. If your spot promises a spring offer and the link drops people on a homepage, you paid for that click twice and got nothing.
- Built to match a specific campaign, not the whole business
- Tracking wired in before it goes live, not after someone asks
- Live in days, because the media’s already booked

The Rescue
Or we just fix what you’ve got.
Sometimes the site is fine and the problem is that it takes nine seconds to load, the phone number is an image, and nobody’s touched the hours since 2019. That’s a fortnight of work, not a rebuild.
- Speed, mobile, and accessibility fixes on the site you already own
- Tracking and forms repaired so leads stop vanishing
- An honest verdict first — including “this doesn’t need us”

Squarespace is genuinely good. Here’s when it isn’t enough.
We’re not going to pretend a $16-a-month template can’t run a small business. Plenty can. The question is what happens when you start spending real money to send people there.
| Rénard | DIY template | A freelancer | |
|---|---|---|---|
| The page matches the ad that sent them | Yes | No | If briefed |
| Tracking wired in before launch | Yes | No | Ask first |

If you’re not spending on media yet, build it yourself and put the money into the business. Come back when the ads start.
Same page, every screen it lands on.
Designed on the phone first, because that’s where the ad was clicked — then given room to breathe on a desktop.

The questions we get on the first call.
Straight answers, including the ones that aren’t in our favour.
What does a website cost?
A proper small-business site generally runs $6,000–$18,000 depending on how many pages and how much copy and photography it needs. Landing pages are a fraction of that. If your budget is under a few thousand, we’ll point you at a template and mean it.
How long does it take?
Six to ten weeks for a full site. The build isn’t the slow part — waiting on content and approvals is, every single time. Tell us your launch date up front and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s real.
Do we own the site?
Completely. The domain, the hosting, the files, the WordPress login. We build on standard WordPress specifically so any competent agency can pick it up — including one that isn’t us. Sites built on a proprietary platform you can’t leave are a business model, not a design choice.
Can we update it ourselves?
Yes, and we’d rather you did the small stuff. Hours, staff, prices, and posts are set up so your team can change them in a browser. We’ll walk you through it once and leave you a short video for whoever inherits it.
Do you do e-commerce?
Straightforward WooCommerce shops, yes. Complex inventory, multi-warehouse, or a serious catalogue is a specialist’s job and we’ll say so — we’d rather refer you than learn on your money.
Our site’s only two years old. Does it really need replacing?
Probably not. Two-year-old sites usually need speed work, a clearer path to contact, and someone to fix the forms — a fortnight, not a project. The audit will tell you which, and we’ve talked plenty of people out of a rebuild they’d already decided to pay for.
Will it help our SEO?
The foundation, yes — speed, structure, schema, and clean URLs are all baked in. But a fast site with nothing to say still won’t rank. The build gets you eligible; the content and citations are what actually win it.
What if we don’t like the design?
You see the homepage design before we build a single page, and we’ll rework it until it’s right — that’s the point of showing it early. Where we’ll push back is on decisions that look nice and cost you customers, and we’ll explain why rather than just do it.
