✦About Rénard
We’ve watched six recessions, every format change, and two different internets arrive in East Texas. The businesses we started with are mostly still here. So are we.
The channels have. The job — work out who needs to hear about you, then reach them for less than they’re worth — is the same one we took on in 1977.
Two desks in Tyler, buying radio and newspaper for local businesses who couldn’t get a straight answer on rate cards.
Year oneClients kept asking who’d shoot the spot we’d just bought airtime for. So we stopped subcontracting it.
The 80sEveryone said it would kill traditional media. It didn’t — it joined it. We started building sites the ads could land on.
The 2000sSocial, search, then streaming. Same discipline, new inventory — and a lot of people selling followers as if they were customers.
The 2010sNow a machine answers before the links load. Being worth mentioning matters more than ever. That part we’ve had 49 years of practice at.
TodayNo account manager relaying messages to a department you never meet. The person who answers your call is the person editing your spot or buying your airtime.

Client Services Director
The one whose name is on the contact page, and the one who actually answers it. Runs the audits and tells people when they don’t need us.
“No, really — call us.”
Media Director
Buys television, radio, outdoor, and OTT across East Texas. Knows which stations bluff on rate and which ones will make good when they miss.
“Everything’s negotiable in November.”
Creative Director
Writes the spot, boards the shoot, and argues for the simpler idea. Responsible for most of the lines clients still quote back years later.
“Thirty seconds is the hard one.”
Director of Production
Runs the crew, the kit, and the edit suite. If your spot is cut, coloured, and trafficked by Thursday, that was her scheduling it on Monday.
“We’ll shoot at your place.”
Digital & Search Director
Handles paid digital, search, and the AI visibility work. Will happily tell you your rankings are fine and your website is the problem.
“Nobody pays with a ranking.”
Every agency’s values page says “integrity” and “passion.” Here’s ours as a set of specific refusals instead, because those are the ones you can hold us to.
Commission pays an agency to spend more of your money, not to spend it better. We charge a flat fee and the budget goes to the outlets.
We build inside your ad accounts, your analytics, your site. Leave whenever you like and it all goes with you, history included.
Impressions, followers, engagement rate. If a number can’t be traced to a call, a click, or someone walking in, it’s not on the first page.
Several times a year an audit ends with “your account’s fine, fix these three things, no charge.” We’d rather be the call you make in two years.
No stock photography of people who’ve never been to Texas. We bring cameras to your building and shoot the real thing.
Nobody can guarantee a ranking, a viral post, or that ChatGPT names you. We’ll tell you the odds and then measure honestly.
One market, learned properly, since 1977. We know which stations deliver and which are selling a rating card.
Small enough that the person on the phone made the thing you’re calling about.
Strategy, media, cameras, edit, design, code. Nothing gets farmed out and marked up.
49 years in one town only works if people leave happy and come back.
Jewellers, non-profits, retailers, and manufacturers — most of whom have been with us longer than the platforms we now buy for them.
